Homeowners, when choosing a roofing contractor to install a new roof for you, make sure that your roofing contractor is installing new ventilation that meet the current code requirements. If your house was built 15 to 20 years ago, or more, it is not going to have the adequate ventilation to meet the current code requirements. The current code for San Diego is one square foot of ventilation for every 150 square feet of attic floor space.
